Township News and Information Credit cards and E-Checks are now accepted by Deerfield Twp. for payment of taxes. Through Point and Pay; Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and E-Checks are now accepted by Deerfield Twp. for payment of taxes. There is a 3% fee on all credit or debit transactions with a $1.50 minimum fee and a $3.00 fee on e-checks. Call 1-855-893-2382 for interactive voice response to use their credit/debit card or electronic check or click on the online tax and assessing data and pay online. Zoning Ordinance Update The Deerfield Township Zoning Ordinance has been updated. The new ordinance is available at the link below. Newspaper Collection Site Has Moved The Boyscout Newspaper collection site has been moved. It is now along the south fence at the Township Hall. Reflective Address Signs Lapeer County EMS is suggesting that residents install reflective address signs to make it easier to find their house in an emergency. Contact the Deerfield Township Fire Department to find out how to get a sign. Written Complaints for roads in Deerfield Township If you have any complaints about the roads in Deerfield Township, please fill out a Road Complaint Form and either: Fax to the township at 810-793-4077 or Mail to the township at the address listed at the top of this page. The township will be keeping a permanent record of the complaint and will be forwarding a copy to the Lapeer County Road Commission. Complaint forms are available below in the forms list or can be picked up at the township hall. |
